What an amazing tour in England it's been so far. I don't know what it is about this little island that seems to make my creative spirit come alive, but I sure do love being here. Maybe it's the people. Yeah, that's it. It sure feels easy to pour out Spoken Groove when people respond with big, wide grins and sparkling eyes and go out of their way to take care of me like I'm their treasured guest.
Anyway, from St. Austell all the way up to Preston and even further north, I've met so many cool people and artists while I've been here. Radio, magazine and TV people have been tracking me down for interviews. I've even been selling bunches of my new book, "I'm Going To Be A Zebra", and letting the hordes of people who sign up for my email list download my new CD, "This is Spoken Groove", for free (hint, hint).
Currently I'm in Sheffield recording 3 nights of a live DVD at the Lantern Theatre. It's either the oldest or one of the oldest freestanding theaters in England and definitely one of the coolest, most intimate places I've ever performed. Last night's performance was incredibly special as I pulled out pieces I'd rarely ever displayed on stage for the packed house. When the DVD comes out you'll want to get your hands on it as soon as possible.
Here's the schedule for the next few days that I have left...
Tues, May 31, 7pm, Live at the Lantern w/ Philippa Hanna and Roo Walker, Sheffield, UK, £8
Wed, June 1, 7pm, Live at the Lantern w/ Philippa Hanna and Roo Walker, Sheffield, UK, £8

May the God of heaven breathe fresh winds in your sails and let you hear His voice saying, "I dream bigger than you". Your friend,
Peter.
